A native of Columbia, MD, Shin has trained under renowned PGA instructors like Mike Bender, Adam Schriber, and James Sieckmann. With a Top-20 National Ranking in junior golf and multiple wins on prestigious tours like the AJGA and FCWT, Shin excelled as a Division 1 golfer at the University of Maryland, earning a full scholarship and ranking in the Top-25 in the ACC conference. Having competed in numerous USGA events, including the US Open and US Amateurs, and as a former KPGA player, he now channels his extensive experience into coaching, helping others achieve their golfing goals.
