If you or your team need to miss a league round – there are a couple of options that we have listed here:
- You are welcome to bring a sub to fill in for your spot for any regular season league round
- If you bring a sub to fill in on any week, their score will be counted against their Trackman Handicap. If they already have a Trackman handicap developed – then this will be used toward scoring. If they do not already have a Trackman Handicap developed, they will play as a 0 handicap.
- Teams are able to reschedule two regular season league rounds at no extra charge. If you need to do this, make sure to reach out to your local league coordinator with your preferred day/time to reschedule the round to.
- Any rounds rescheduled after the two free rounds have been used will cost 50% of the simulator rental fee

- Play runs for 8 weeks, with 7 weeks of regular season, and 1 week of playoffs/championships
Each week on Friday evening, the course for the next week will be announced in a newsletter sent out to all players
This newsletter will also contain general information for the season, including CTP prizes and winners, Drink specials, and much more!
- Each week teams will come in at their designated time and be directed to their simulator
- A League Coordinator at each location will help teams set up their round week to week
- Teams will not be given scorecards to fill out as all of the scores will be saved through Trackman
Males and Females will each play a tee box decided by Five Iron for each course specifically, decided week to week. Males generally will play from a tee box that is the 2nd or 3rd longest tee box, depending on the course. Females generally will play from the most forward tee box on the course, with the exception of courses that offer junior tee boxes.
Each week your team’s score will be your score to par for that week. (i.e. if you scored -2 the first week and then -4 the second week, you season score would be -6)
If teams tie during any week, the Tiebreaker is:
- Total of the last 6 holes
- Total of the last 3 holes
- Total of the last hole
- Sudden Death Matchplay from the last hole backwards
After week 7 – the top teams on each leaderboard will advance to the International Championship on November 8th, based on the following:
- Top 20 Gross Teams Internationally plus Top Gross Team from Each Location
- Top 20 Net Teams Internationally plus Top Net Team from Each Location
- Top 10 Women’s Gross Teams internationally
Teams who don’t advance to the International Championship will play in their local playoffs at their regular time slot during week 8
- After the International Championship – our top international finishers in the Net, Gross, and Women’s leaderboard will be our International Champions
- Additionally – our top domestic finishers in the Net, Gross, and Women’s leaderboard will be our Domestic Champions
Teams may only win 1 trip – if one team wins multiple trips, they will pick the trip which they prefer, and the prize they do not choose will be awarded to the next top finisher on the leaderboard
Five Iron Golf reserves the right to disqualify any team from the Net leaderboard who is suspected of purposely padding their handicap for the purpose of winning the net championship
- Players may be asked to play an additional handicap round if this is suspected
- There will be prizes awarded for CTP winners at each location each week
- Local prizes will be awarded during the playoffs for teams who don’t advance to the International Championship
- Five Iron Staff is welcome to play in any league season – but they and their team will be disqualified from any prizing associated with the league
- Any team with 5i staff members advancing to the championship will be replaced with the next best team on the leaderboard
- All players are expected to use the simulator properly and adhere to the Five Iron Golf Tour rules and regulations.
- Any attempts to manipulate the simulator as determined by the Five Iron Golf Tour in its sole discretion will be grounds for removal.
- Teeing up the ball is only permitted on the first shot of every hole. A one stroke penalty will be assessed for any violations of this rule.
- This season – all women’s teams will be competing on the same course for the same prizes every week – but there will be a separate women’s only gross leaderboard
