We are seeking an Enterprise Systems Administrator. This individual will be responsible for configuring, maintaining and improving the software and hardware systems of the company on a national level and will report to the VP of Enterprise Systems.
Core Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with IT Services to ensure consistent and timely installation of computing and network hardware components at all locations; similarly coordinate to ensure consistent and timely installation of appropriate firmware and business software on all company-owned devices
- Coordinate with IT Services to ensure an ongoing program of patches and appropriate upgrades to company systems
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware components and available software licenses
- Maintain consistent software configuration in business systems across Five Iron locations
- Coordinate closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to update software configurations, as needed, to add or change product offerings
- Contribute to maintaining internal software and technology tools, coordinating with developers to track and resolve bugs; contribute to a cohesive roadmap for internal development including systems upgrades as well as potential replacement tools
- Coordinate with IT Services to monitor network and hardware systems performance; ensure consistent standards of quality, and confirm that all issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Coordinate with IT Services to ensure prompt attention to issues and outages
- Be an expert resource on all core systems; contribute to training staff and documenting best practices
- Be a leader in learning new technologies, developing the expertise to train staff on new or improved tools
- Build and maintain internal technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies
- Prepare appropriate reporting on information in your domain, including: systems status and stability, project status, overall productivity and the contribution of business systems to prioritized business outcomes
Additional Responsibilities:
- In consultation with the Data Analysis team, contribute to refining the business logic informing internal systems, by (for example): improving the quality of business input processes; refining our capacity to track guest and staff behavioral inputs; or improving system configurations to improve the signal-to-noise ratio in various business inputs
- Contribute to streamlining systems and reducing manual effort across all teams – track a prioritized backlog of automation opportunities, and coordinated with internal and external developers (within appropriate budget constraints) to save work-hours and improve productivity
- As appropriate and in consultation with the Data Analysis team, contribute to reporting from various enterprise systems tools
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in GSuite software, with at least intermediate knowledge of Google Sheets
- Familiarity with, and experience configuring, both Windows and MacOS operating systems
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Attention to detail and a willingness to find joy in repetitive tasks – making consistency its own reward
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
- Prior knowledge of Mindbody software and/or Square POS
- Some experience with scripting languages and basic systems automation
- Some experience with Unix
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a related professional certification

Job Type: This position will be a Full-time Exempt role
Hours: Must be available for emergency support, hours will vary by week and will include some nights and weekends.
Salary: The salary range for this position will be $60K to $65K
