Ambassador

Five Iron Golf is the country's premier indoor golf and entertainment experience, with 26 locations nationwide and more on the way. Five Iron Golf’s core mission is to seamlessly meld golf and entertainment, and in the process make golf inclusive and accessible for all. 

We are seeking an Ambassador. The Ambassador is responsible for driving business into Five Iron Golf and to serve as the first point of contact for Five Iron Golf visitors by welcoming our guests in and delivering outstanding customer service. Key responsibilities include promoting and selling Five Iron Golf experiences, goods and services, guiding visitors, achieving sales goals, and actively contributing to the guest experience. They approach their role with creativity, including wearing costumes, and place a strong emphasis on interacting and promoting the Five Iron space to the guests in the greater venue. The Ambassador will report directly to The General Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Collaborate with the management team daily to understand and convey marketing and sales messaging and initiatives.

Meet sales goals and KPIs established by management on a weekly and monthly basis by performing various roles, such as Greeter or Host

Identify interests and understand customer needs and requirements, offering recommendations accordingly.

Introduce promotions and new products to potential customers by distributing brand product samples, brochures, flyers, etc.

Operate the POS system and handle transactions and credit card processing.

Promote Five Iron Golf and entice customers to enter the space and purchase services and goods.

Report on sales-related information, including interest levels, visitor trends, questions asked, samples/flyers distributed and overall traffic.

Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Applicants must be 21 years of age or older (due to potential alcohol handling responsibilities).

A background in sales is required, with a preference for a performance background.

Related experience in brand marketing, communications, promotion, or sales preferred.

Goal-oriented and able to meet provided sales goals.

Proficiency in sales and customer service.

Self-motivated, outgoing, and proactive in visitor approach and engagement, both on and off the property.

Proficiency in relationship-building and storytelling, with a willingness to dress in costume and bring an out-of-the-box approach to surprise and delight visitors.

Exceptional customer service skills, excelling in verbal communication and in-person conversational skills.

Ability to understand visitor needs and interact effectively with different personality types.

Strong skills in listening, communication, presentation, and social interactions.

Capable of providing information on Five Iron Golf and its experiences.

Genuine enthusiasm for Five Iron Golf

Able to stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.

Flexible schedule, including availability to work nights and weekends.

Must be able to work in a stimulating environment subject to varying levels of sound, crowds and smoke/haze.

Pay: $20/hr + sales incentives
