This individual is primarily responsible for delivering high quality golf instruction and will report directly to the national General Manager of Performance. About 5i Instruction: Utilizing the latest technology, Five Iron instruction is designed to help all golfers, from beginners to high level tournament players achieve their golfing goals. The coach will utilize the latest technology, training and experience to help students accomplish their golfing dreams in a comfortable and exciting environment. We pride ourselves on being a fun and non-intimidating introduction to golf for any skill level. Responsibilities include the following:

    • Deliver best in class golf instruction to students of various skill levels
    • Ability to work mornings, nights and weekends to maximize your lesson schedule
    • Leverage students from the Five Iron Membership who are already in the space
    • Be an expert on Trackman and all Five Iron processes
    • Serve as the featured coach at corporate events at the Five Iron Location- providing instruction and a great customer experience
    • Utilize Social Media to help promote the Five Iron brand and you as a coach
    • Assist in the space beyond your golf instruction- talking with members, prospects and corporate events

    Required Qualifications:

    • At least 2 years experience in the golf world or PGM graduate
    • One on one coaching experience preferred
    • Understand various golf swing teaching methodologies
    • Understand ball flight laws, launch monitor data, and be tech savvy
    • Proficient in video analysis
    • Good social skills and working well in group scenarios, facilitating groups to have fun
    • Able to speak at a high level about the golf swing to a wide variety of skill levels without being confusing
    • The desire to learn and grow as a coach- to maximize your students improvement
    • Bachelors Degree preferred

While the main responsibilities are listed below, the Line Cook will assist with additional tasks as directed by the team lead. This role is responsible for preparing, cooking, and delivering flavorful dishes to our guests, ensuring that every bite is a satisfying and memorable experience.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    • Open/close kitchen when needed.
    • Prepare a variety of different appetizers/entrees for guests and ensure food preparation to keep the kitchen and line fully stocked.
    • Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes.
    • Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machine.
    • Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine; unload and organize them properly.
    • Empty trash containers regularly and maintain a clean work area by sweeping and mopping as needed.
    • Perform additional cleaning duties and clean food prep stations and equipment as requested.
    • Control and direct the food preparation process while collaborating with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent service.
    • Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Deliver best in class golf instruction to students of various skill levels
    • Ability to work mornings, nights and weekends to maximize your lesson schedule
    • Leverage students from the Five Iron Membership who are already in the space
    • Be an expert on Trackman and all Five Iron processes
    • Serve as the featured coach at corporate events at the Five Iron Location- providing instruction and a great customer experience
    • Utilize Social Media to help promote the Five Iron brand and you as a coach
    • Assist in the space beyond your golf instruction- talking with members, prospects and corporate events

    Required Qualifications:

    • At least 2 years experience in the golf world or PGM graduate
    • One on one coaching experience preferred
    • Understand various golf swing teaching methodologies
    • Understand ball flight laws, launch monitor data, and be tech savvy
    • Proficient in video analysis
    • Good social skills and working well in group scenarios, facilitating groups to have fun
    • Able to speak at a high level about the golf swing to a wide variety of skill levels without being confusing
    • The desire to learn and grow as a coach- to maximize your students improvement
    • Bachelors Degree preferred

    Line Cook at Five Iron will support the team leader in managing all aspects of our kitchen. While the main responsibilities are listed below, the Line Cook will assist with additional tasks as directed by the team lead. This role is responsible for preparing, cooking, and delivering flavorful dishes to our guests, ensuring that every bite is a satisfying and memorable experience.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    • Open/close kitchen when needed.
    • Prepare a variety of different appetizers/entrees for guests and ensure food preparation to keep the kitchen and line fully stocked.
    • Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes.

    We are seeking a General Manager of Performance. The General Manager of Performance is the caretaker and cheerleader of every guest's golf journey. The General Manager of Performance is charismatic, people-oriented, gets to know Guests on a first-name basis, demonstrates proficiency with our golf simulators and other equipment, and is able to drive revenue in golf-specific offerings, including membership, game improvement, and leagues. This individual is a strong leader integral to a location’s success, responsible for overseeing and managing all golf operations at the location. The General Manager of Performance reports directly to the National Director of Golf.

    Responsibilities include the following:

    • Hire, manage, and train morning and afternoon golf staff, including AGM of Performance
    • Manage P&L of the location for golf-specific & retail offerings; achieve quarterly revenue targets
    • Liaise with Director of Instruction to manage golf coaches availability and performance to meet location’s lesson & fitting revenue goals
    • Set and manage above-and-beyond service standards for all golf staff
    • Actively evaluate golf staff performance to ensure day-to-day business needs are met
    • Cultivate meaningful relationships with Guests; check in with Guests throughout booking
    • Proficiency in golf simulator technology; Adhere to quality control processes to ensure all simulators are maintained
    • Ensure bag storage room and golf equipment, including demo clubs, are consistently organized and inventory is kept up-to-date
    • Maintain extensive knowledge of all of our products, business lines and promotions
    • Build the membership community through member events, outings, and engage in local reciprocity efforts with state/regional golf associations and courses.
    • Clearly and effectively communicate golf-specific needs to the National Director of Golf, General Manager, Social, Regional Manager and other corporate representatives
    • Provide excellent account services throughout the membership process from onboarding to termination
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of food and beverage offerings; ability to deliver premium food and beverage service when needed
    • Take pride and ownership of each Guest’s enjoyment and fun at Five Iron Golf

    Required Qualifications:

    • Passion for the game of golf
    • 5+ years of hospitality, hotel, golf course/club, or sports management experience preferred
    • Strong leadership ability and willingness to lead by example
    • Exemplary communication, time management and organization skills
    • Social and interpersonal skills required to cultivate meaningful relationships with our Guests
    • Familiarity with swing analysis technology and launch monitor technology

    Pay: Compensation for this position ranges from $55,000.00 - $65,000 annually. Bonus Eligible

    Additionally, wages for teaching lessons/clubfitting, if applicable, are provided. You will also have the opportunity to earn incentive-based compensation through a bonus program, based on the membership retention and performance related revenue.

    Leadership & Team Building:

    • Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure the bar is well-stocked.
    • Ensure the bar, golf simulators, and surrounding areas are clean and guest-ready.
    • Develop fresh ideas for specials, cocktails, and promotions.
    • Take pride in ensuring guests' enjoyment by actively checking in with them during their visit and promptly addressing any concerns.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology, products, and promotions.
    • Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling, alcohol service, and cleanliness.
    • Verify guests' legal drinking age.
    • Assist with closing duties as needed.
    • Provide an elevated event experience by leading on-site execution, including guest greetings, space preparation, issue resolution, and financial closing.
    • Ensure positive customer experiences and successful delivery of contracted services for events.
    • Manage simulators and event spaces according to contract requirements.
    • Oversee event timelines to ensure organized and timely activities.
    • Train and coordinate with staff in various roles to provide a premium event experience.
    • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food meets customer expectations.
    • Purchase and manage event-related inventory.
    • Support the Event Sales Manager with administrative tasks.
    • Attend weekly meetings to review banquet event orders.
    • Provide feedback to the Sales team to enhance return business.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to create additional events and experiences for Five Iron customers.
    • Contribute ideas for improving event experiences and increasing revenue.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Prior experience in managing and/or coordinating events.
    • Server, bar, and/or hospitality experience encouraged but NOT required.
    • Passion for golf and an understanding of the game’s rules are strongly encouraged.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • A customer-centric approach with the ability to upsell.
    • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Exceptional organizational skills.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to obtain proper licensing and certifications for the location.
    • Meet state minimum age to bartend.

    The Golf Experience Associate is responsible for guiding guests through their Five Iron Golf experience, acting as their host to ensure satisfaction and engagement. You'll focus on making sure they enjoy all the fun that golf and Five Iron have to offer!

    Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

    • Provide a fun golf experience from check in to check out
    • Gamify the experience for fun and energy
    • Take pride and ownership of each Guest’s enjoyment and fun at Five Iron Golf
    • Serve as the in-house expert on our golf simulator technology and use your expertise to ensure guests have the best possible experience, highlighting everything Five Iron Golf has to offer
    • Connect guests with other offerings in the Five Iron catalog, such as leagues, memberships, swing evaluations, and club fittings
