We are seeking a Kitchen Manager. The Kitchen Manager is a strong leader able to hire, train, and coach our kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food service and genuine hospitality. This individual is skilled, confident, and possesses an unbridled passion for delivering exceptional hospitality through food that wows our Guests. Kitchen Managers report directly to General Managers / Regional Managers.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Recruit, hire, and train (or oversee the recruiting, hiring, and training) of all kitchen staff
  • Actively evaluate kitchen staff performance to ensure day-to-day business needs are met
  • Manage and oversee all kitchen operations at the location or group of locations, including facilities maintenance and cleanliness; ensure compliance with department of health and all other applicable law
  • Ensure above-and-beyond service standards are met at all times, including food quality, consistency and timeliness of service
  • Maintain extensive and up-to-date knowledge of our menu and recipes
  • Develop and implement efficient kitchen processes
  • Anticipate, identify, and correct issues with inventory, systems, and staffing; understand, monitor, manage and control inventory
  • Ensure staff members have applicable, up-to-date food handling licenses
  • Effectively manage schedules and oversee labor costs.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience minimum as a Kitchen Manager or Head Chef
  • Strong leadership ability and willingness to lead by example
  • Exemplary communication, time management and organization skills
  • Upbeat energy and enthusiasm and a positive attitude
  • Expertise in planning menus and ordering provisions
  • Proficiency in kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Availability on evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to obtain proper licensing and certifications
  • Ability to stand, walk and bend for long periods of time and maneuver up and down stairs
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Hours: Vary by week; some night and weekends

Salary: The salary range for this position will be $50,000 to $55,000 / Competitive annual salary
