Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ben moved to New York City in 2021 with an excitement to share his passion for golf with his students. During his career at the University of Central Oklahoma from 2016-2020, Ben trained with 2 time National Champion golf coach and NAIA Hall of Fame inductee, Steve Hulsey. A certified instructor by Golf Digest, Ben has completed training programs with David Ledbetter, Butch Harmon and other renowned professionals. He follows the game and the sport closely and is a firm believer in gripping it and ripping it!

Brian Brannigan

Brian Brannigan is a golf professional at the UES location. Originally from Connecticut and with nearly a decade of experience in the golf industry. Brian has garnered expertise from various country clubs in South Carolina and Connecticut. He specialized in coaching juniors, conducting clinics, and offering one-on-one lessons. Brian is committed to imparting a solid understanding of the game and ensuring your next rounds are more enjoyable!


Michelle, from Arizona, arrives at the tee with a robust background in collegiate and junior golf. As an avid golf student and active volunteer with The First Tee, her teaching style caters to individual goals. Her holistic approach blends technical mastery and mental game expertise for golfers of any level.


A New York native, Sean began a career in golf as a teen, working at Kissena Golf Course while playing on his high school team. After college, Sean held the role of Assistant Professional at Tam O’Shanter Golf Club before a transition to becoming a commodities’ trader for the next 15 years. Continuing to play for leisure and competition, Sean revived his passion for the game after studying the Stack and Tilt System, and at Mike Bender Academy. Certified by TrackMan Golf and Golf Digest, Sean prides himself on his ‘building block approach’ teaching style to support golfers of all levels of play.

Liz Breed

Liz started playing golf at a young age and played collegiate golf at the University of Kentucky. After turning professional, she won the 2015 Kentucky Open and the 2017 Colorado Women’s Open. In 2018, she ended her full-time playing career and became the Lead Instructor at Seawane Club in Long Island. Liz is excited to join Team 5i to blend the traditions and high standards of golf, with the excitement and diversity of teaching in a community-driven high-tech environment.


James, originally from England, grew up playing golf in Dubai. After a successful Junior, College and National amateur career he competed in Professional Events in Europe and Asia. Since then, he has worked around the globe in all aspects of golf including teaching with Top 100 instructors, representing major Manufacturers and establishing Custom-Fit programs. As a student of traditional and new technology teaching theories his own unique teaching style has been successful for beginners, weekend and tour golfers.

John Gorman

With over a decade of experience in the industry, John is well-versed in all aspects of the game. Originally from Glasgow, Scotland, John is a proud member of the British PGA and worked as a golf pro for Nike Pro Vision Golf, gaining extensive expertise in teaching individuals of all ages and skill levels. John philosophy for working with his students is centered around simplifying the game by providing clear and precise instructions.
