Yes, handicaps are included in the leagues. This allows for both net and gross scores to be tracked each week. Handicaps ensure that our leagues are fun and competitive for every level of player. If you are an experienced golfer with a preexisting handicap, then that is the handicap information you should submit when signing up.

If you don’t have a handicap, we have you covered! Players that do not have an official handicap will have the opportunity to submit a handicap number which they believe accurately reflects their level of ability. In our League, nine holes of golf are played during each week of the leagues, so the amount of strokes a player receives during their 9 holes each week could vary based on the handicap index of the holes being played.

Our League Coordinators reserve the right to assess and amend any players handicap at any time.

At the end of each week, every team’s score will be sorted from first to last place. The points that are distributed for the season depends on how many teams are in the league. For example, if there’s 30 teams the team that finishes in first place will receive 30 points, second place will receive 29 points, third place will receive 28 points, and so on. In the case of a tie, the points for the corresponding places will be added up and divided by the number of teams that tie. Example: if three teams tie for first place, the 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place points are added and divided by three (30+29+28, 87/3 = 29). In this instance, each team that tied for first would receive 29 points for that week.

Team will receive an update email each week with details on current standing across both the net and gross leaderboards.

Every team will be competing across two different scoring formats known as “gross” and “net” scoring. Gross scoring accounts for the number of total strokes a player takes, while net scoring is determined by subtracting a player’s handicap from the total strokes taken. For example, if a player takes 36 strokes to complete 9 holes, that is their gross score. If their handicap dictates that they get 4 extra strokes, then you would subtract that from the original 36 to get a net score of 32.

Yes. A team of four is only allowed three substitute players to be on their roster. And any substitute used will receive no handicap strokes.

If you would like to play with your own golf clubs you are welcome to. We also have a wide variety of new clubs that you can use for free.

This depends on the location your team registers to play at. Some of our locations use Full Swing simulator technology, while others use TrackMan. The national finals will be exclusively played on TrackMan.
