Five Iron Golf Fall League Grand Prize

For the Fall 2022 Season, the team that wins the national championship will receive a trip to Casa De Campo for the team of Four (4) as the prize. The national championship is made up of the winning team from each location, plus the top 3 teams on the leaderboard from the regular season. The national championship will be held the week after the local playoffs, and the winner of this national championship will be the grand prize winner. The details of this trip are listed here:

Your stay at Casa De Campo in La Romana, Dominican Republic will include:

• Four night stay in an Elite room
• One golf cart for transportation within the resort
• Daily breakfast at the resort selected restaurant
• $250 travel voucher per person from Five Iron Golf
• Two rounds of Golf at Teeth of the Dog

The certificate will be delivered to the national winner after they are decided and will be valid for one year after it is received. This trip is for the 4 players on the team. What is the deal with Casa De Campo?

• The team that wins the national championship will win a trip for the team to Casa De Campo
• The trip will include a 4 night stay and 2 rounds of golf at each of the 3 courses
• Players will also receive daily breakfast, a golf cart for transportation within the resort, unlimited driving range access and access to the fitness center
• Five Iron will Include a $250 travel voucher to each teammate

 

How many people get to go on the trip?

• The full team of 4 players get to go on the trip
• Each team will receive two vouchers for two trips for two people
• Each voucher includes a stay for 2 in an elite room, so there will be 2 rooms between the 4 players

 

How do I get to the national championship?

• After the season comes to a close, the top 6 teams on each locations leaderboard will compete in the 1st flight
  • This will be a bracket style playoff, where teams play head to head matchups until the winner is decided
  • Whoever wins the 1st flight in their location will advance to the national championship
• Anyone team who placed in the top 3 on the national leaderboard will also advance to the national championship

 

What happens if we tie in the national championship?

• Ties will be broken by a sudden death playoff, where team will go back to the first hole that they played, and continue to play until a team has won a hole

 

What is the format of the national championship?

• The national championship will 9 holes played in the 3-ball best ball format

 

When is the national championship?

• The national championship will take place on tuesday 11/1 at 7pm EST
  • Teams in the national championship are required to play by 11/1 for their score to count
    • If you cannot attend the national championship on Tuesday 11/1, you will have the option to play on Monday 10/31
