Five Iron Golf (5i) is the country's biggest indoor golf company with three locations in New York City, two locations in Chicago, and locations in Seattle, Baltimore, Las Vegas, DC, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
5i is not your traditional country club. We aspire to establish a casual, relaxed environment for golfers and non-golfers alike. We are a fun and growing company with an urban vibe. We offer indoor golf simulation, lessons, golf fittings, and food and beverage service.
As we expand, we are looking for team-oriented employees who help continue our most important tradition; providing outstanding customer service.
We are seeking a Host. This individual will oversee all aspects of the front desk and will report directly to the General Manager.
Responsibilities include the following:
Welcome guests to the venue with a smile and positive 5i attitude
Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
Manage reservations in MindBody, our booking software
Escort customers to assigned simulator or bar areas
Provide information on specials as well as memberships and league information
Acknowledge customers upon their departure
Coordinate with wait staff about available simulator options
Maintain a clean reception area
Answer incoming calls and address customers’ inquiries
Assist other staff as needed
Golf, server, and/or hospitality experience encouraged but NOT required
Experience in managing reservations
Demonstrable customer-service skills
Excellent communication skills both on the phone and in-person
Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor all simulators and bar area
Availability to work various shifts as needed
