As a social and business hub, the club offers Members a fine dining experience that is unrivaled in the downtown Chicago area, with inventive cuisine and handcrafted cocktails served up with sweeping city views. They have full business amenities with concierge and meeting services with equipment and technology and access to a state-of-the-art gym.
Five Iron Golf will operate the golf experience at The Metropolitan including two simulators and lounge area. Guests can book their sim online at https://fiveirongolf.com/5i-at-the-metropolitan/. As a 5i member, you are able to book these sims the same way you would at any other 5i location — with free off peak hitting, and 20% off peak bookings.
Full access to the Metropolitan amenities include restaurant, meeting space and golf simulators. It is highly recommended that you make a reservation for any of these spaces prior to arrival.
As a 5i Member, enjoy a four-month preview membership to The Metropolitan with access to dining, golf, and events. During your first visit, The Metropolitan team will provide you with a temporary membership card. Simply contact the Club concierge at 312.876.3200 to book dining reservations or register for events.
The Metropolitan is located on floors 66 and 67 of Willis Tower, with the main club floor and the golf lounge on floor 67. To access the club, you will enter the Franklin or Wacker entrance. Guests are required to check in to security with a government-issued ID. The Wacker entrance is only open Monday-Friday from 9am to 5pm and will take you directly to floor 67. The Franklin entrance is always available, bringing you to floor 66. You will use the same bank of elevators when you get off to access floor 67, or the stairs located in the center of Altitude.
Athletic wear is only permitted inside golf sims. Members and guests will feel comfortable at the club in smart casual attire. Please be sure to communicate this with any guests accompanying you. Denim without rips or distress is permitted while hats, t-shirts, flip-flops, athletic wear and shoes, shorts, and loungewear (outside of the simulators) are not.
