Questions
- The tournament is open to everyone
- The amount of teams available is based on the amount of simulators that we have in each location – so make sure to sign up soon to lock in your spot!
- All players must complete registration through LeagueApps and pay a $200 per team/$50 per player entry fee prior to the start of the tournament on August 22nd, 2023. The link to the Dana-Farber website to complete payment will be found in your registration confirmation email.
- Players will not be considered officially entered into the tournament until they have registered on LeagueApps and paid via the online link in their registration confirmation email, and may lose their spot if registration and payment are not completed.
- All players will have access to the simulator starting at 6/7pm (depending on locations) to warm up, and for the duration of the round
- All players will receive a welcome bag and will also have access to prizes for the top 3 teams nationally, and each location winner.
- Teams will compete against other local teams as well as teams across the country
- Each team will have their own bay to complete their tournament round
- Each team will have ~15 minutes to get settled and warm up, and then a 5i staff member will come around and set each team up on the correct course and settings
- Your team will then play an 18 hole scramble to decide the winner!
- Yes – we will be putting under the “manual – aimed” setting
- Players will putt with 12 foot gimmies
This tournament is a no handicap event – all scores for the scramble will be gross scoring
For the tournament round, we will be playing The Old Course at St. Andrews
- All players are expected to use the simulator properly and adhere to the Five Iron Golf Tour rules and regulations.
- Any attempts to manipulate the simulator as determined by the Five Iron Golf Tour in its sole discretion will be grounds for removal.
- Teeing up the ball is only permitted on the first shot of every hole. A one stroke penalty will be assessed for any violations of this rule
- Individuals are matched on a first-come, first-served basis.
- All rounds played on TrackMan simulators.
- Round will take approx. 2.5 hours.
